real!!
First drop's good, don't think dropping the octave was a good idea for the second one. Drum line sounds great and I like the main section. Not much to say
I'm glad you liked it! Good luck!
I like most of it, but the high hats are a little too loose in the drop. Rest of it sounds great
Glad you liked it! I will consider all your advice in the following tracks!
Ok here's some feedback.
This is badly mixed. The chords are very load and kind of drown out everything else. You might want to turn down the automation a little there.
It could use some sort of sub bass or any bass in the beginning. Treble by itself just doesn't sound that good.
And maybe some variation could help.
Thanks! I'm not totally new to making music, but I'm by no means good at it, so any feedback,
especially critical, is very helpful. I tried putting in your suggestions, and it's definitely
sounding better. For example, I copied the chords ( Which I used an FMSynth for ) and
lowered it down a few octaves to make a subbass that paired with them.
For the variation, I'm thinking of either switching up the chords or changing out the melody
for the next part of the song. Then perhaps there could be a third part where it all comes
back together...
But, yeah, thanks for the feedback! It makes the music I make better, and I appreciate it. =)
cool but bass gets old after a while
I feel ya
Well made remix, but you need to vary the main synth more.
I will take care of future projects. Thanks for the detail ;3;
I've always had a problem with dubstep songs that are dubstep for no reason. When you have an intro that's not building up to a drop and you break it in out of nowhere, it just feels forced and for no reason. The drop is..... fine? It's really loud and clippy, even for a dubstep drop. Plus it's a sudden switch to half time drums when the rest of the song is in quarter time.
The non-dubstep parts are really good, and I like the guitar.
Thanks!
To explain tho, I usually do the format of "hint at melody, bring in melody, then drop = chorus".
But for this song its more like its based around the actual drops and the melody being the carrier. Kinda like "Hydra". I switch my focuses in diff songs XD.
Just a diff format from what i usually do :D.
Just to me the melody wasn't the essence of the song but an introduction and a carrier.
Some songs are about the melody, others about the jam/percussive/vibe.
Thanks so much for the review!
You could have mixed it a little better, but this is REALLY good, dude.
Really appreciate that! Thanks!
